English Silver Plate Rolling Dome Breakfast / Buffet Server (#1)

Welcome to A ntiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely vintage English silver plated rolling dome breakfast or buffet server. Server has a fluted top decorated only with large medallion on center top for possible monogram and has a Bakelite type knob on handle. The base has a beaded edge and sits on four tall feet with an embossed flow in a medallion at the top and vertical panel decoration above the hairy paw feet.

The rolling dome top opens to reveal a beautifully pierced decorated lift-out removable tray with a solid under tray also removable that sit above the concave body that would hold hot water. Measures approximately 9" high, 13 1/2" long (including handles), 11" long (base measured from side to side) and 8 1/2" wide. This nice server is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws to the body or lift-out trays. There is some minor silver loss on the silver finish of the inside of the base that is covered by the trays otherwise the server reflects only minor signs of nor.
