This antique hunt cabinet from the middle 1800s has beautiful carved fruits, vines, and leaves on its doors. Its interiors are far cleaner than those in most old cabinets, and provide lots of storage space. The total height is 104 1/2" (8 8 1/2) and the width is a generous 59".This piece has retained its 7 1/2" tall, curved pediment and 4 1/4" finials, and they appear to be original. There is some damage on the back of one finial, but it isn't noticeable when atop the unit. In the event this cabinet is too tall for your use, the pediment and finials, along with the 2 3/4 bun feet, can be left off without ruining its appearance. That's often been done. The upper cabinet, which starts at the bottom edge of the pediment and ends just above the open serving area, measures 42 7/8" tall and 18 11/16" deep. The height of the open serving area is 15. The serving surface has a hairline split, a few scratches and some of the other small dings and mars that you expect to find on true antiques.
The height of the lower unit, from the serving surface down to the floor, is 39 1/2; this includes the two side-by-side drawers, the lower cabinet, and the short, bun-shaped feet. The depth of the cabinet is 22 7/8. The original key is included in the sale, and the lock works, securing both (dove-tailed) drawers. I have changed some of the photos, to remove those I thought were too blurry. Im going to add a couple more, soon.If you have any questions about this cabinet, Id love to answer them.
